Following the updating of the ECF’s safeguarding policy on the 18th June to include chess online (see today’s announcement – link below), there is now a Code of Conduct applicable to all players taking part in ECF or Club online events. This is part of the online safeguarding policy the Club has introduced. It applies to all of the Club’s online activity. The ECA has also adopted the ECF recommended practice for its events and teams, including this Sunday’s Essex Team Blitz and online county matches.
