This season was the first season after the transfer of the website from iPage.com to IONOS; from Joomla! to WordPress.com.
In the Joomla!-powered website we used an external program called Results to build results and stats and to generate web pages automatically. Now we handle results and stats in a different way, but the navigation menu for 2019-20 still gives access to all years for which Results provided the web presence and that is where you will find a mine of information via the menu selection “Player stats – all other activities”. Once you select this item, you will have access to player stats going back to 2006-07, via the Stats Index!
This was also the season that was curtailed by the outbreak of the covid pandemic, with 17 March 2020 being the last clubnight before the first lockdown. One casualty of this curtailment was that the Rapidpay Championship, usually held in April, was not held this season.
