Another day, another competition. In the Semi-Final of the Lawrance Cup, Wanstead defeated the mighty Barnet Elizabethans by 5-3 over the two rounds.
Artur inflicted a double defeat on Tryfon Gavriel, 210, Kyan secured a draw and a win against Roy Sagall, 196, Alin contributed a win and a draw against Philip Myers, all of which allowed David to have an off day.
In the other Semi-Final, Wanstead 2 play Chingford 1 on 16 Jan, to set up another all-Wanstead Final.
