Mary’s triple crown heads the Essex honours
Congratualtions to Mary Cawdery on her triple crown at the British Championships heading a success story for Essex. Mary achieved Girls Champion status in the U10 Blitz, the U10 Rapid, capping a successful British as U10 Girls Champion (at standard play), finishing =3rd in the process. All of our players had the Black pieces as is usual in a Simul. The Junior Chess Coaching Club turned out in force this evening for their return to Wanstead House.
