The British Championships start in Leicester on Thursday 20 July and run until Sunday 30 July. There is currently a “baker’s dozen” of Wanstead players who have entered, with still time for more to join them. See the BCC website (link below) for all the details and online entry.
There are more events than ever with, in addition to the usual British and Junior Championships, the Major Open and the Weekeders and Weekday tournaments, no fewer than three Blitz events and three Rapids.
The Wanstead players amount to just shy of a third of Essex entrants, for whom a Feature blog is being run on the ECA website (link below) so you can always keep up to date with the progress of your Wanstead colleagues on the Essex at the British blog (link below).
