The Club Blitz Championship is in play this evening. We have what is possibly a record entry – 31 at the time of writing – and, for the first time, we are running an U100 section in addition to the Open. Also, there are several Club Championship R4 games being played (in Manor Room).

Members who are unable to attend the Club this evening can follow proceedings online by selecting the link from the ‘No Template’ menu in the right sidebar. Lookout for the Blitz Menu on the Tournament Pages at the left end of the menu bar: this enables you to switch quickly between the two sections.
Play gets under way at 7.30 pm (provided all entrants are present by 7.15 pm for registration). Each round will take a maximum of 16 minutes, so there should be a new round every 20 minutes. If the website is not pressed into playing, we will note below which round is in play and when it started. Readers should refresh their browser periodically, when the tournament is in progress, to ensure you’re reading the up to date information.
