Lightning Championship 2022-23 The 37th running of our Lightning Championship, played annually since 1986-87 without a break, even for covid. Lightning Championship 2021-22

The Club Lightning Championship for 2021-22 will be held on 7 December 2021 in the club room, starting at 7.30 pm. In Lightning Chess a buzzer sounds every 10 seconds and the player on move has to move on the buzzer, not before, not after. Entry to the Lightning is via the usual Attendance Form for 7 December, or if you prefer to play social games and not enter the Lightning, complete the Entry Form and opt instead for SOCIAL. […]
