With the distraction of the Euro Soccer SF against Denmark potentially overlapping the slightly less prominent London Online League chess match between Wanstead Wolves and Hendon Harriers, the League offered players the opportunity to agree to start an hour earlier than the normal 7.00 pm start. Two boards accordingly started at 6.00 pm and two started at 7.00 pm. The last game to finish concluded just 6 minutes after kick-off in the footy. Oh, and the Wolves scored one more than England, with fewer players.
