Events come thick and fast. After last week’s Lightning Championship, on Tues 10 August we have the Blitz Championship – games played at 8 minutes per clock without increments (G8+0).
As with the Lightning, entry to the Blitz is via the usual Attendance Form, which is now available. Members who do not wish to enter the Blitz, but would like to play some social games, should select the SOCIAL option in the form.

Round 4 of the Club Championship is on 17 August, with Round 5 (last round) on 31 August. The Rapid Championship, which was planned for Saturday 21 August, is now likely to find a new date, due to a clash with County matches. Update in due course. Summer 2021 OTB
