Two wins and a draw
Three fixtures, in October, billed as “friendlies” were nonetheless keenly contested. With teams matched for strength, the Club emerged with two wins by the narrowest margin – against Hackney and the Warriors (W&W JCCC) – and a draw in the other, against Chingford.

Handicap Blitz Grand Prix 2
Speaking of keenly contested, Tuesday 2 November in the Club Room – 7.30 in our second “first of the month” event, sees the second Handicap Blitz Grand Prix in the five event series. Six round Swiss with a time handicap according to rating. Full details via the link below or from the main menu above (“**HBGP**”). Enter via the Attendance Form and select “HANDICAP BLITZ”. Or members who prefer a calmer evening can elect to play social games; also via the Attendance Form (select “SOCIAL” in the “entry” form).
